The vinyl material is more durable and more rigid than the cloth and linen. Vinyl has a rubbery feel and dries much faster than the fabric, therefore, can be ideal when used for outdoor tables. Fabric or linen tablecloths can stain quickly, where a sheet of vinyl can be simply wiped with a damp cloth.

Vinyl can be more expensive depending on the quality of vinyl used, but may be a good alternative to the use of materials such as cloth.
