OrthoClear: Betamax to smooth transparent teeth?

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, a format war was conducted to control the market for home video recorders. Betamax, introduced by Sony, was the first technology commercially popular, and in the early days, was technologically superior to VHS reached, developed by JVC. Align Technology was founded in 1997 by Zia Chishti and Kelsey Wirth, and received approval from the Food and Drug Administration to market the Invisalign year follows.
