Golf Lessons psychology from the Open Championship at Turnberry - Part 2

In the first part I talked about the lessons of golf Psychology amazing performance Tom Watson is both on and off the course at the Open this year's championship at Turnberry. While other lessons golf psychology can teach us some of the other contenders?

Now I know the valiant and the challenge pregnant Ross Fisher died on the Order Paper the rough thick at the 5th hole on Sunday. But he continued to succeed beautifully in a way that the world number one, Tiger Woods, miserably failed to do two days earlier, despite signing a burden to him almost the weekend. Ross kept his cool and Tiger lost his rag!

I think that Ross Fisher is such a wonderful young golfer, so polite, considerate and Colombia, so I was in seventh heaven when he left Green Open fourth Sunday the first of two strokes. It was still better than one of my all time favorite Tom Watson was only 2 behind and Lee Westwood, another of my favorites is in the mix and playing at the top of his game as well. That would be a real treat. I also knew that one of my former clubmates, Luke Donald, posted a top club with a final score of 67.

After Ross and Lee hit their irons from the tee fifth in the rough, I afraid they might drop a shot, but I never dreamed that Ross would drop four shots! He did not really something something bad on this hole, it was just the rub "green you get on a traditional links course. He had a terrible lie in the thick grass, had nowhere to fall, when he played, the ball ended up in a worse place. He finally went off the racing game six years, hit a good shot and almost holed a putt good.

Everything reminded me of laps I had to play the top amateur competitions from championship tees of Open Championship venues like Royal Birkdale and Royal St Georges, where the rough could be almost unfairly penalized. This that was different about Ross was he just kept smiling, stuck to his routine and got on it. He even smiled and doffed his hat the cheers of the crowd when he finally holed out on the green fifth. Moreover, he parred the next hole and his last 10 holes. In other words, he accepted that these things happen on the golf course and just go about his work as a professional golfer, hitting good shots and please the crowd. And just in case you forgot, it was the impending birth of his first child to think so.

Given his composure, I was surprised to recall Ross said in an interview at the Masters this year, he did not use a golf psychologist. He said he was one given by the English Golf Union back in his days amateur. I would like to know who it was, because he is certainly doing something good and long term Working with the unconscious young Ross!

At the risk of repeating myself, the next time you're on the course and the gods of golf or golf your mind seem be against you, remember how he dealt with the Open Ross Fisher. Accept what has happened, it relegated to the past where it can make you more evil and focus on the next move to play the best of your ability.
