Review of the Stanley Clarke CD I want to play for you
Super talented Jazz artist Stanley Clarke has released his latest CD on the Epic recording I am entitled to play for you.
It is an extremely rare day that I get a CD from an artist that I can truthfully say does not have a bad track in the bunch. I am more than happy to announce that's exactly what I have to say about this one. It is not just bad in the bunch. No fillers here at all, with each song standing tall on its own.
The good thing about a CD like this is when the talent is this rich even if Jazz is not your favorite genre you still can not help but appreciate the greatness of the artist.
If you're a fan of Stanley Clarke or simply a fan of Jazz music is a CD your collection simply should not be without.
Although this CD is outstanding the truly standout tunes are track 2 - Just A Feeling track 3 - the streets of Philadelphia, and track 9 - Jamaican Boy.
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [... as in "Stuck On Repeat "] is track 1 - I want to play for you. What a nice track!
