The Selmer Series III throws a big punch.
The ergonomics of the buttons are amazing. Makes you play faster because of the layout of keys. Your fingers just fly on that instrument. They are placed on the saxophone in a natural position. A note on flow your fingers to the next. Side, D E-flat, and F keys are positioned so that you can just roll your fingers over them. Strong G, B, C sharp and B flat keys are easy to move your finger to the left the little finger.
The sound that comes out of this saxophone is enormous. It can be very noisy if jumped to its maximum. This gives a well saxophone round. The notes in full. You do not even need a microphone with this unit. Of course, having a microphone, it would sound even better. It is a nice bright sound.
Altissimo range is beautiful. They come out crisp and clean. There is no blurring of Altissimo notes. They are clear as a bell. You can play a G, and G Sharp really clearly. Whereas, on a Yamaha tenor saxophone student model that you would get some distortion.
Lower scores are beautiful. When you play the B flat on a sub-tone can come out really strong, but controlled sound under-tone. It is easy to under-tone a damper on this instrument. It is warm and fuzzy.
This saxophone comes with the option of engraving. The etching is done by hand and is beautiful. If you get one of these saxophones I would say for engraving. It is beautiful, you can watch the recording by searching the internet for Selmer saxophones.
The Selmer Series III model comes in five colors:

The mat lacquered polished brass comes only without burning.
There are many cases you can get for this saxophone. I would say to get one with a lock so that nobody else can enter your saxophone case.
When playing the saxophone with jazz saxophone seems to speak to you. You play differently because it emits a different sound. You feel different notes. You hear different notes. The saxophone tells you what he wants to play.
If you are looking to get one of these look to spend around $ 5,000 for a matt varnish and $ 15,000 for gold plated.
